Our Take:
  • JDM Rarity: This 1997 Toyota MR2 Turbo is a gem for enthusiasts of Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) vehicles. Thanks to its origin, this MR2 sports features and a setup that were not available in the U.S. versions, offering a unique driving experience that's treasured among car collectors. The Azure Blue color makes it even more exclusive, as this hue isn't something you see every day cruising down Main Street.
  • Turbocharged Thrill: The model's turbocharged engine offers an exhilarating mix of power and agility. It's part of a legacy of mid-engine sports cars that Toyota perfected in the '90s. Car enthusiasts often liken driving one to a go-kart experience with a bit of a wild side—some say it's like harnessing bottled-up excitement.
  • Kouki Tail Lights: The upgraded Kouki tail lights are more than just a cosmetic perk—they're a nod to the MR2's rich lineage and are highly sought after by fans of the brand. These lights reflect the Japanese car culture's attention to detail and design, often creating a distinctive look during nighttime drives.
  • Solid Upkeep and Mechanics: Recent maintenance is a bonus, showing this car's been well cared for. With new components like the clutch master cylinder, ignition coil, and timing belt, not to mention the E153 LSD transmission, it suggests reliability for those spirited weekend drives. It's like knowing the heart and soul of the car have been nurtured—it's ready for the long haul.
