Our Take:
  • The Saab 9000 CSE is a bit of a gem for those who appreciate Swedish engineering mixed with a hint of Italian flair—thank Giugiaro for that stylish design. By 1998, this model was nearing the end of its production run, making it one of the last of its kind. With its high-pressure turbo engine, it was known for a surprising kick, blending practicality with a dash of performance.
  • This particular car sports Aero seats, a noteworthy upgrade for comfort and style. Even if some bits and bobs need attention (like those pesky switches and seat cables), it taps into that quirky Saab charm. If you can get past the minor cosmetic needs, you're looking at a unique driving experience with a touch of luxury from the late '90s.
  • Rarity and Legacy: In a world dominated by more mainstream brands, the 9000 has become something of a cult classic. Its quirky features—like the night panel button that dims everything except the speedometer—endear it to devotees. Not being a dime-a-dozen car, it certainly has a story to tell and heads to turn.
  • Ownership History: This vehicle's long tenure in a single family speaks volumes about its reliability and the owner's dedication to its maintenance. It's got new parts and tires, which means it's been cared for. The absence of accidents and decent interior condition add to its appeal for enthusiasts who value provenance and originality.
