The time has come to part with my 2005 Aero, now with just a shade under 49,000 total original miles. Not engine miles or any of that phoney baloney, but total miles since new. I bought car just about 4 years ago with close to 29,000 miles. It has not been winter driven more than 1/2 dozen times in my ownership. Maintenance since I have owned the car includes the full Aisin timing belt/water pump kit at 29,000 miles. The original radiator had a small weep and was replaced. New Old stock rotors and pads were installed. Valve cover gaskets and cam seals replaced. Brand new Pirelli tires last year. Oil changes twice a year, most at less than 3000 miles using Subaru oil and filters. Lamco gauge pack. Stainless door trims, OEM winter floor mats. Never a check engine light. Hot heat. Cold Air. No leaks, ticks. clunks. etc. Car runs perfectly. No mechanical issues. No deferred maintenance. You can drive the car anywhere. Body-wise: Some moron keyed the left rear quarter. There are a few dings and paint chips. No Rust. None. Price is $13,500. Yes, it's an automatic. So what. It's a great car. Change it to stick if you wish. No heated seats. No Xenon headlights, etc. Car is located near Detroit and can be driven anywhere at anytime.
