This 1967 Porsche 912 1.6 Litre has 111,000 miles and has been well-maintained over the years. The engine was rebuilt at 38,764 miles (with receipts). I am the 3rd owner of this original California car, and it remains in great condition, rust-free, and running smoothly. The drivetrain is original to the car. The second owners kept the car for 53 years. After the car was worked on and repainted in 2017, it was driven for a few months before the owner’s wife passed. It was purchased in 2024 and then sent back to the detailer for extensive work. The paint was restored with sanding using 1000 and 2000 grit, followed by polishing and buffing. The undercarriage and engine were both cleaned and detailed. The original Solex 40 MM carbs were removed (included), though they will need to be rebuilt or reworked. New carbs have been installed, though they are not original, they are dependable. A top-end engine rebuild was completed in January 2025, including a valve job with new valves, springs, and guides, along with new 1.8 cylinders and pistons (the old pistons and cylinders are included). Receipts for all work done on the car, dating back to the 1970s, are included. Below is some but not near all work that has been done on the car: Disassemble car for paint, remove trim, front and rear bumpers, windows etc. Strip car to bare metal to prepare for rust repair Replace front suspension pan and battery tray, repair rust in doors and windows. Install reproduction front pan and battery tray Install Bumper Seal Repaint car complete in Porsche Red. Reassemble complete with new rubber and trim as needed. Rubber and seal Kit. Replace front windshield Sent Steering Wheel out for restoration. New door hardware, New window hardware. Fuel tank replaced Carbs Rebuilt (Carb kits) Replaced Fuel Lines Rebuild all 4 Brake Calipers and replace Brake Master Cylinder with New Master Cylinder. New Headlight Assembly New Gaskets Set.
