Description

Price is OBO-- THIS, is my Alpine White E36 M3 lol! With a clean title, the chassis has 216k miles and the motor has 190k miles, subframe and strut tops have both been reinforced. Has a full headers back super sprint exhaust, bilsteins and lowering springs, and a UUC short shifter. The interior was redone with the original seats, but the drivers seat needs a seat gear replacement for the recliner. Otherwise the car is rust free and ready to go! ...

Our Take:
  • Legendary Performance: The 1999 BMW E36 M3 represents the last model year of a generation revered for its perfect balance of performance and practicality. Known for its naturally aspirated inline-six engine—a marvel of Bavarian engineering—this was when BMW still focused on driver engagement with precision and poise. The addition of aftermarket upgrades like the Super Sprint exhaust and UUC short shifter means this particular car likely offers even more of that signature M3 responsiveness.
  • Manual Transmission Rarity: In modern times, the manual transmission is becoming as rare as a carbureted V8, yet this M3 proudly boasts a stick shift. Enthusiasts know that piloting a manual makes you feel more connected to the car; it’s almost like you’re part of the drivetrain, rhythmically shifting in harmony. Plus, it's a nod to the era when driving was less about tech and more about the mechanical dance.
  • Alpine White Aesthetic: The Alpine White exterior—often considered a classic, clean look—accentuates the M3's aggressive lines while maintaining a level of sophistication that's unmistakably BMW. It’s a color that doesn’t just hide dirt better; it also highlights the car's silhouette beautifully against the backdrop of any scenery, whether urban or countryside.
  • High Mileage with Reinforcements: Though the chassis has clocked significant mileage, the reinforced subframe and strut tops suggest a previous owner with a keen sense for preserving the car's integrity. These reinforcements are a must for E36 M3s subjected to spirited driving, particularly given their notorious vulnerability in those areas. Such care points to a community of owners who cherish not just the driving experience but the vehicle's enduring legacy.
