Our Take:
  • Rarity Revamped: Originally a Coronet 500 convertible, this car has been meticulously restored to emulate the sought-after Coronet R/T - a rare treat for Dodge aficionados. The R/T (Road/Track) models were the high-performance variants, and spotting one, even a recreation, is like finding a needle in a haystack. In the muscle car era, these models were the real deal, packing quite the punch under the hood.
  • Engine Evolution: This beauty now boasts a 440 cubic inch engine with six-pack carbs, which is a nod to the engines that powered legends back in the day. The 440ci engines were known for their brute power and throaty growl, a kind of automotive music that reverberated through the streets. Plus, the rebuilt 727 TorqueFlite transmission ensures a smooth ride, marrying power with reliability.
  • Modern Meets Classic: With additions like power front disc brakes, power steering, and air conditioning, this car blends classic style with modern comfort. It's fascinating how these old-school machines can be updated to keep up with modern driving expectations, without losing their nostalgic charm. Isn't it neat when a car can wear the best of both time periods?
  • Shining Star: The fresh ceramic coating isn't just about shine—it's about protection, keeping that dazzling exterior gleaming while safeguarding against the elements. Imagine cruising down the boulevard in this eye-catching ride; it's like stepping into a classic movie scene. And really, who wouldn't want that feeling of turning heads wherever they go?
