I’ve been restoring this car since 2014. It has a newer clutch, upgraded aluminum radiator with a high output fan, new paint job, starter, battery, shocks, timing belt, wheel bearings, tie rods/crossbar, windshield, good tires, custom seat covers and a brand new convertible top.
Also includes three manuals, four boxes of misc. parts, one box of paint job products and remaining fluids.
Like most classic cars it has a few drips.
My reason for selling is I’ve purchased another sports car and can’t keep them both. (MILEAGE IS UNKNOWN)

Our Take:
- Italian Charm Meets Vintage Design: The 1973 Fiat 124 Spider is a classic Italian roadster that epitomizes the blend of style and performance. Designed by Pininfarina, the same design house behind Ferrari, it stands as a testament to timeless aesthetics. The 1800cc engine and 5-speed manual transmission were quite the package back in the day, offering a driving experience that's both engaging and intimate—perfect for those who enjoy the tactile feel of classic motoring.
- Boosted Heart for Spirited Drives: With a commendable 116hp, this Fiat 124 Spider was no slouch at the time. It delivered enough power to make winding roads exciting, all while accompanied by the sonorous note only a classic roadster can provide. The seller has enhanced its cooling system with an upgraded aluminum radiator and high-output fan—a smart move, considering the spirited nature of Italian engines.
- A Labor of Love: The multi-year restoration shows dedication, with careful attention given to key components like the clutch, shocks, and timing belt. Notably, the new paint job and custom seat covers not only enhance its aesthetic appeal but also protect its legacy. The inclusion of manuals and boxes of parts reflects a meticulous ownership history—something any classic car enthusiast can appreciate.
- A Touch of Quirk with Timeless Appeal: It's not uncommon for vintage cars to have a few quirks, such as the occasional fluid drip. But isn't that part of the charm? This Fiat, like many classics, has its own personality—a reminder that these cars were made with character and a touch of an Italian flair. The joy of owning such a vehicle often lies in these little imperfections that make the driving experience unforgettable.
