VERY RARE 1973 Lotus Europa Twin Cam Special Beautiful Restoration 1.5L Ford 105E block with Lotus TwinCam “big valve” cylinder head Twin Stromberg Zenith carbs 4 speed manual transmission 10,600 Miles since restoration. The current owner bought this car in 2015 when it had completed only 9,000 miles since a complete restoration. The restoration took place from 2001 – 2013 and involved the fiberglass body being removed from the backbone chassis which was then blasted and powder coated before the body was painted and reinstalled. All mechanical systems were rebuilt and upgrades made to improve reliability and ease of maintenance. The current owner completed a retrimming of the interior using genuine Scottish wool plaid material, an upgrade of the door hinges and weather seals, seatbelts sent out for new web material, installation of a period correct stereo with Bluetooth module and professional rebuilding of the twin Stromberg Zenith carbs. The car looks as clean from underneath as it does from the top. There is a 3 inch binder of receipts as well as factory service manuals, owners manual, warranty book and original toolkit.
