A carfax was ran when I purchased it in March 2024 and is available to serious buyers. During that accident the front and rear of the car suffered damage. The front clam was replaced, the rear damage behind the wheel has not been fully addressed but is pictured and what I would consider pretty easily repairable. During the accident the driver side rear lower control arm was also bent, for good measure, the knuckle, toe link, upper and lower control arms were replaced. Other parts including the rear diffuser were also replaced. I bought this car with the intention of repairing it back to its former glory and riding it for a while. Since then I have not had as much free time, or as many opportunities to drive as I thought that I would. The good - All parts are there and from a 15 footer it looks great. In July it passed the Maryland State Safety Inspection (this is a more comprehensive inspection that only happens when a vehicle changes owners in Maryland) and it passed the Maryland Emissions test in October. As part of getting the rebuilt title the car was salvage inspected by the Maryland police I believe this was in early May. The soft top is in mint condition. All AC functions work properly and mechanically the car is great, drives well, all lights work, all aspects of the car function as they should. According to the carfax at 17500 miles it has a considerable service which included a full engine replacement. I’ve reached out to Milex Complete AutoCare for more details but they were light on what they could tell me as far as the reasoning but during this same service it also got a new Radiator, Mass Airflow, Brake Fluid Changed amongst other items. I’ve installed a head unit that is AA/Carplay capable. New original sized Kicker DSC speakers throughout. Brand new battery in March No warning / dash lights. DNA front swaybar. The bad - The replacement clam that I acquired had the turn signals in the front shaved which is not a bad look at all, but body work over time shrank in leaving some indentations where the turn signal patches were. The front clam paint job itself could be better, there are some striping and it was not a perfect color match. The clam damage to the rear has not been fully addressed. The tires are a bit older but do have plenty of tread left. The car is located in Crofton MD. Once the body work is completed it would be a great example of a low mileage Elise.
