ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT
CAME WITH DEFROSTER, REAR SEAT HEATER, FRESH AIR VENT, FRONT AND REAR TURN SIGNALS WITH SELF RETURNING SWITCH, PUSH BUTTON RADIO, ROTATING RADIO ANTENNA CONTROLLED FROM WITHIN THE CAR, LAST YEAR FOR SIDE MOUNT SPARES, 1ST YEAR FOR STANDARD OIL FILTERS, FIRST YEAR FOR SEALED BEAM HEADLIGHTS, ORIGINAL ROYAL MAROON COLOR.
IT WAS STORED BY THE GOVENOR AFTER WORLD WAR II STARTED, HE THOUGHT IT WAS TOO DECADENT. IT WAS STORED UNTIL 1985 AND THEN IT WAS THE DAILY DRIVER OF BOB MEYERS UNTIL 1995. IT WAS STORED AGAIN UNTIL 2021.
EXTERIOR
The Buick’s paint, has been applied by a previous owner, is described as being in fair condition. The seller notes a scuff to the left-front fender as the major blemish, along with a small area of rust near the rear bumper. The body seals are said to show no evidence of cracks or water leaks. The Limited is equipped with desirable dual side-mount spare tires. The chrome complete, free of damage, and in very good unrestored condition. The glass condition is described as “perfect,” and that all exterior lighting is functional except for the two front fog lights. The underside presents as being generally clean, with light surface corrosion visible in the photos.
INTERIOR
The cloth seating is in “excellent” condition, with no evidence of tears or soiling. The carpeting is in good condition. The headliner is in “excellent” shape, with functional dome lamps. The wood-painted dashboard, with turned metal insert, presents as being in very good condition. All the instrumentation, is operable, with the exception of the radio and clock. The heater is also functional.
CHASSIS
The hydraulic drum brakes are in proper working order. The wheels are free of damage or pitting, and are mounted with tires with about 90 percent of their tread remaining.
