Description

1969 1750 GTV with SPICA. Car is in good condition. Was repainted by previous owner but it's a driver condition at best. No rust under the car or on the car as far as I can see. Mechanically car is in good running order. Never overheats, transmission doesn't grind and brakes are excellent. Five digit odometer show 37xxx miles but I'm sure it's 137xxx miles. Our Take:
  • Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV: A Classic Italian Stallion - The 1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV is a shining example of a classic Italian sport coupe, known for its elegant Bertone design. Under the hood, the 1750 GTV featured the SPICA mechanical fuel injection system—a rare and innovative option at the time that gave the car a distinct performance edge and characteristic sound.
  • SPICA System Tuning - This car's seller has taken the initiative to tune the SPICA system, which can be a bit of a finicky piece of technology. This attention to detail ensures that the 1750 GTV revs smoothly and pulls with gusto—essentially giving it a new lease on life and a strong heart.
  • Historical Import - In the late '60s, the 1750 GTV marked Alfa's push into the American market. Its four-cylinder engine was a nod to both performance and efficiency, which was somewhat of a balancing act back then. The inclusion of both the original and upgraded parts (like the wheels and exhaust) means this beauty maintains its authentic soul while delivering a modern twist.
  • An Enthusiast's Restoration Dream - With a "driver condition" repaint and rust-free status, the car offers a solid base for further restoration or just cruising. It's not just about investment; it's about re-living the golden era of motoring where every drive was an emotional journey—full of roaring engines, corner-carving prowess, and that unique Alfa Romeo charm.
