Description

Beautiful tungsten silver AM V8 Vantage (James Bond color). Difficult to find 6-speed manual gearbox. Supple leather everywhere. Amazing sound system. Incredibly comfortable to drive; effortlessly quick. 420hp (getting 20mpg in my experience). I am the 9th owner, and bought this car “as-is”. I took it to a local British car mechanic who went through a full inspection, and to my great surprise, found almost no issues. Our Take:
  • Aston Martin's V8 Vantage is like a fine British tea—it's classic and packs a punch. The 2012 model year is notorious for its 4.7-liter V8 engine, delivering 420 horsepower. It's like having a British bulldog under the hood, ready to run with elegance and power. The fact that it's fitted with a 6-speed manual transmission makes it a true driver's car, harking back to a time when shifting gears yourself was half the fun.
  • The "Tungsten Silver" paint isn't just any color; it's a nod to James Bond himself. While this V8 Vantage didn’t get its own big-screen moment, it shares that alluring shade with the Aston Martins we've seen racing through cinematic car chases. It's subtle, like a secret agent blending into the shadows, and it adds a touch of cool sophistication.
  • The lineage of owners might give you pause—nine is quite a crowd—but remember, sports cars often have a higher turn-over rate. Think of it like a relay race; the baton’s been passed around, but each runner's kept it in top shape. The positive inspection report from a British car mechanic is like a clean bill of health. A new battery and serpentine belt just mean this Vantage is well-prepared for its next adventure.
  • As for the salvage title, it sounds a bit like a story from a noir film. A rear-end collision might usually raise alarms, but no frame or sheet metal damage is a promising sign. The car's integrity appears intact, with only minor paint imperfections—like laugh lines from a good story—adding character rather than defect.
