Description

03 rs6 runs good just had a leak in the radiator somewhere. Otherwise good car, it can be driven but I recommend it be towed to wherever you take it until that leak is fixed. Has little front end damage and airbags deployed. But the car is very rare have a lost title but I have affidavit of lost title for less of a hassle 5k OBO ...

Our Take:
  • The 2003 Audi RS 6 is quite a rare beast on American roads, given it was only available in the U.S. market for just one model year. This particular model came with a 4.2-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which was quite a powerhouse. Producing around 450 horsepower, it was a car that could easily leave most other sedans in its dust—talk about a wolf in sheep's clothing!
  • The RS 6 was part of Audi's renowned quattro lineage, featuring their legendary all-wheel-drive system. This wasn't just about getting you through a snowstorm; it was a performance hallmark that improved handling and grip in all conditions. Back then, having an automatic transmission with this much power was a luxury; today, it's a nod to the early 2000s when automakers began blending performance with daily driving ease.
  • The model's obscurity isn't just due to limited production but also because it was crafted during a time when Audi was seriously upping its game with luxury interiors. The inside of an RS 6 was a nice place to be with high-end materials and a focus on driver comfort. Many car enthusiasts appreciate how this model captures an era when Audi was transitioning into a serious contender against BMW and Mercedes in the performance luxury sedan segment.
  • Given its age and the description, it's worth considering that while it may require some TLC—radiator leaks and deployed airbags aren't trivial fixes—this RS 6 could be a diamond in the rough for someone looking to restore a piece of Audi's performance history. Even with the challenges of a lost title, its rarity and driving dynamics, when fully restored, make it an engaging project car for an enthusiast.
