This car was never left outside, indoor storage from Day One to now. Always a Florida car. Undercarriage is mint. This car was stored for more than 15 years in the deceased original owners shop until last year. He had begun the GM Performance Parts ZZ383 swap and never finished it. I finished it and the car is now dead-nuts reliable and strong. Engine has about 1,000 miles on it. I ran Comp Cams Break-In Oil for two changes, now conventional oil. The GM Performance ZZ383 Crate Engine is rated at 425HP and 450 lb/ft of torque. It has FAST EZ-EFI fuel injection. The engine is backed by the factory Muncie/Getrag 282 5-speed manual transmission. It is a MONSTER! I drive it respectfully, but enthusiastically (you can't help it!). It runs cool in the Florida heat and humidity, and all the gauges are in working order. The air conditioning will work, held vacuum and refrigerant, but needs a new compressor ( it's new but front seal leaks badly from sitting so long). The exhaust consists of headers into two mini catalytic converters into quad exhaust outlets. You can drive this car ANYWHERE. You get constant attention on the street and always a crowd around it at car shows. It's very reliable. I've driven it to the East Coast of Florida and back in 90+ degree heat.
