This 1965 Pontiac GTO hardtop with PHS documents was acquired by the current owner in 1991 and is said to have been refurbished with work including a repaint as well as interior, engine, and transmission services.
The car is finished in blue over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 389ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission.
The 389ci V8 is said to have been rebuilt in 1991 and features an aluminum radiator, an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold and four-barrel carburetor, electronic ignition, MSD spark plug wires, and a polished alternator, air cleaner lid, and valve covers.
Features include power front disc brakes, power steering, 15″ chrome Cragar wheels, an aluminum radiator, an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold and four-barrel carburetor, electronic ignition, and a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers
The hardtop body is said to have been repainted in the current shade of blue in the early 1990s. Features include a hood scoop, chrome bumpers, stacked headlights, a driver-side mirror, and bright-finished rocker panel and wheel-well trim.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The transmission and rear axle were reportedly refurbished in 1991. The dual exhaust system features Flowmaster mufflers
Chrome 15″ Cragar wheels are mounted with 225/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. The car is equipped with power steering and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl with a blue diagonal insert and a Pontiac insignia. Amenities include a center console, a Hurst shifter with a cueball knob, vent windows, and an aftermarket amplifier and speakers.
The two-spoke steering wheel has a chrome horn ring and frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, water temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 35k miles, approximately 30k of which were added during current ownership
