Rare car! Not many of these built. Different sources say approximately 1,500 sold in US. Classic wagon body style. Overall, the car is in good shape. Car shows really well. Turns over nicely. 3.0 V6 engine. Heat & A/C work well. Prior to current owner purchasing the car in July 2023, this Jag was in NC ('06-'13) and FL ('13-'23). Hasn't been subjected to any harsh winters in the Northeast.
Lots of maintenance done on the car; oil change, filters, radiator fan module, thermostat, alternator, battery, O2 sensor, front struts, front wheel hubs + bearings, front axles, rear passenger wheel bearing, trans fluid, all replaced in the last 1.5 years. Wheels were refurbished and the body paint was buffed out and touched up. Crappy OEM lug nuts removed (common failure).
Radiator fan will cycle on/off sometimes, even when the engine isn't warm. This is a common "problem" with the X-Type. Doesn't really affect anything other than hearing the fan running. The speakers need to be replaced as well. The passenger side of the dashboard near the wind shield is damaged, assume it was from the FL sun. Current owner barely drives the car. Stored in an enclosed parking garage. This Jag is looking for another wagon enthusiastic to take ownership! No trades. Selling for a friend.
