Description

I purchased this car back in November with ambition to make it into something amazing however life has changed for me. With deep remorse I’ve decided it is time to move away from cars. The car runs and drives well. A few tasteful mods have really enhanced the driving experience. The body is rough shape however minimal “rust”and no rot. (See pictures) This is a drivers/track car and has a history of doing both. Please reach out with questions you may have. Please don’t waste my time. No trade...

Our Take:
  • The 1971 Alfa Romeo GTV 1750 is a gem from the golden era of Italian sports cars. With its classic lines penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Bertone, this car captures the essence of '70s European motoring. It's not just a pretty face, though—under the hood, the twin-cam 1779 cc engine sings a symphony unmatched by most modern cars.
  • A cornerstone of Alfa's reputation for sprightly handling, the GTV 1750 comes equipped with a manual transmission—keeping the driving experience engaging and raw. The suspension setup and the precise steering make it a joy around corners, much like a fine bolognese sauce, it only gets better with time.
  • This specific car has a bit of a history as a driver’s car and track performer, suggesting it might’ve seen action on weekends—perhaps carving up twisty roads or savoring the scent of burning rubber on the track. It's not just a garage queen; it's got the battle scars to prove it.
  • Though the body is described as in "rough shape," the mention of minimal rust is key for a car of this vintage. Alfa Romeos of this era are notorious for rust issues, so a relatively clean example is quite special. Remember, a little patina isn't just age—it's character.
