Description

1991 Toyota Soarer GT Twin Turbo. It is in very good condition for its age, runs and drives great. Has a 1G-GTE Twin Turbo inline 6, very smooth and quiet engine. It is all original besides the suspension, it is lowered about 2 inches but rides very smooth and handles very good. It is on Silvers Neo-Max coil-overs. The Soarer is basically a MK3 Supra underneath, all suspension fits as well as most engine components so very easy to get parts in the USA for it. I have tons of extra parts for...

Our Take:
  • Rare JDM Gem: The 1991 Toyota Soarer is a unique piece of Japanese automotive history, revered among enthusiasts for its blend of luxury and performance. While its cousin, the MK3 Supra, hogs the spotlight, the Soarer offers a distinct allure with its own set of features and styling. With a 1G-GTE engine, it boasts a smooth, twin-turbocharged inline-six powerplant renowned for its quiet operation — a characteristic much appreciated in the JDM community.
  • MK3 Supra Sharing: For those familiar with the MK3 Supra, the Soarer shares a significant number of components, particularly in the suspension and engine department. This makes sourcing parts relatively straightforward in the USA, as the Supra’s aftermarket scene is quite robust. It’s like having a Supra in disguise, with an extra layer of exclusivity that's bound to turn heads at local car meets.
  • Collector’s Dream: The seller mentions a treasure trove of extra parts, from taillights to a stainless steel exhaust, which can be incredibly valuable for maintaining or modifying the car. Enthusiasts often struggle to find OEM or high-quality replacement parts for older JDM cars, so these extras enhance its appeal. The inclusion of the stock suspension also provides flexibility for those who might want to revert to the original setup someday.
  • Custom Sound & Handling: The car is fitted with Silvers Neo-Max coil-overs, which suggests a focus on improving handling dynamics without sacrificing ride comfort. Lowering the suspension by about two inches not only gives it a sporty stance but also enhances cornering abilities. And let's not dismiss the soundtrack of a smoothly running inline-six — it’s music to any gearhead’s ears, isn’t it?
