I bought this car as a rougher example M3 and have slowly improved it and made it reliable for use at the local road course during the past 5 years. I describe it as a ‘hero’ car because it effortlessly makes you look and feel like you are better driver than you are. The chassis handles so well that it will outperform or hang with vehicles with much higher power. This car appealed to me because it was a sedan with fixed back rear seat, the stiffest version E36 offered. The bonus of two extra doors was nice as a family hauler and I prefer the look of the 4 door, especially with the factory mounted rear spoiler. The fact that it wasn’t as nice as other lower mileage M3’s made this car the perfect one to be pushed at the road course. Almost totally stock example with a few performance oriented track upgrades. Ready for the next owner to use it as it and enjoy it as much as I did as an entry level HPDE car or driver.
