Our Take:
  • Rally Legend: The 1988 Lancia Delta Integrale 8V sits at the pinnacle of rally history, having been born out of the legendary Group A racing era. With its robust turbocharged engine and all-wheel-drive system, this car was part of the team that secured multiple World Rally Championships for Lancia. It’s like owning a piece of racing history — the kind of heritage that makes petrolheads swoon.
  • Japanese Origin: Originally a Japanese market car, this adds an exotic twist to its already fascinating story. Vehicles imported from Japan often come with unique features or specifications that differ from European or American models, making this Lancia a rare find in the U.S. With its journey to Texas in 2016, it’s a well-traveled machine that's now making a home in New Jersey.
  • Iconic Design: Sporting those rare 15-inch OZ Ruote rims (with the original "pepper pots" in tow), this car retains its classic look while adding a touch of customization. The high-quality repaint in its original color and the well-preserved interior, despite some wear, speak to the care this car has received. A little bubbling over the rear wheel arch? Just a testament to its authentic, lived-in charm.
  • Technical Tidbits: While the tachymeter's reluctance to show accurate RPMs and a touch of turbo stutter at high revs might seem daunting, they add to the car's character. These quirks are part of the allure of driving a 35-year-old thoroughbred. Plus, with a clean NJ title and low mileage, it's not just a weekend showpiece, but a real driver — just waiting for its next adventure.
