Description

THIS IS ON ITS WAY FROM JAPAN ARRIVING SEP 30 in Houston. 1995 Eunos Cosmo with the legendary 20B. In excellent shape and only 106,000 kms (65k miles) The car is completely stock and very clean. I have more videos and pictures of a thorough inspection. No rush underneath. It does have a few small issues like the few lights on the dash and the radio does not work. I have videos of engine running and mechanically it seems to be sound. This price is landed in Houston, you take it from there...

Our Take:
  • Rarity and Collectibility: The 1995 Eunos Cosmo is a rare gem from Mazda's past—it's the only model in the world to feature the triple-rotor 20B rotary engine, a technological marvel in its own right. As the Eunos Cosmo wasn’t officially sold outside Japan, finding one in the States is like spotting a unicorn at a local car meet; it’s a head-turner with an exclusive air.
  • Historical Significance: The Eunos Cosmo was Mazda's flagship luxury coupe, loaded with ahead-of-its-time features like GPS and touch-screen controls well before these became standard. It represents the zenith of Mazda's ambitions during the bubble economy years in Japan, a period marked by bold engineering and luxury.
  • Engineering Excellence: The 20B engine isn’t just legendary—it’s a piece of mechanical art. Known for its smooth delivery and high-revving nature, this engine makes the Cosmo a true performer and a collector’s dream. Those few warning lights on the dash? They might just be the car's way of keeping you on your toes, adding to its mystique and charm.
  • Cultural Relevance: This car isn't just a ride; it's a narrative of Japanese automotive prowess during the late '80s and early '90s. The Eunos Cosmo embodies a unique blend of technology, luxury, and rotary performance that paved the way for future innovations. Driving one is like taking a slice of the past into the future.
