Introduced by parent company Mercedes-Benz in 2002, the Maybach brand entered the ultra-luxury sedan market with their 57 and 62 model sedans. This 2009 Maybach 57S was ordered in Baltic Black over a Black/Anthracite Exclusive leather interior and was optioned with amenities including power rear side curtains, heated and ventilated active seats, retracting rear tables, and a solar-powered ventilation system. It has also been fitted with the Renntech R1 Performance Package which provides an ECU tune, a TCU tune, and a higher efficiency intercooler pump for a power output of 625 HP and 745 lb.-ft. of torque. Benefitting from a lifetime of dealership service, this 2009 Maybach 57S is now being offered at auction by its seller out of New Jersey showing approximately 44,520 miles on the odometer.
The exterior is finished in Baltic Black (131) with a gloss black front grille, gloss black window surrounds, and gloss black body trim. The Renntech-upgraded 6.0L V12 AMG Biturbo engine produces up to 670 HP and 840 lb.-ft of torque, an increase of 66 HP and 102 lb.-ft of torque over stock. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed adaptive automatic transmission, which has also received a Renntech tune for quicker shift times. Performance features include an Airmatic dual-control air suspension with an electronically-controlled Adaptive Damping System, speed-sensitive power-assisted steering, an electrohydraulic 8-circuit braking system with dual electrohydraulic control units, predictive brake priming, automatic brake-pad drying, and an adaptive brake pedal.
