Description

Rare dumb car. Slow. Old. But some how cool? Feels like driving a lazy boy. Leather is in good shape with some minor issues, no tears. Mechanically good, I commute in it frequently. Soft top is good and comes with a hard top. Also have factory service manual and original sales brochures. Our Take:
  • Rarity and Collaboration: The Chrysler TC by Maserati is a fascinating product of a brief and unique collaboration between Chrysler and the Italian luxury car manufacturer Maserati, making it a rare gem for collectors. Produced from 1989 to 1991, only 7,300 units were ever built. This particular 1991 model represents the final year of production, featuring a blend of American practicality and Italian flair.
  • Under the Hood: Late production models, like this 1991 edition, feature a 3.0-liter V6 engine. Although some enthusiasts might say it's a bit "lazy" compared to its turbocharged siblings, the smooth V6 brings a touch of reliability and ease of maintenance that many owners appreciate. With only 7,800 miles on the odometer, this vehicle is practically a time capsule.
  • Driving Experience: Described as "driving a lazy boy," it’s clear this TC prioritizes comfort over speed, offering a cushy ride perfect for leisurely weekend drives. The fact that it comes with both a soft top and a hard top means you can enjoy it year-round, regardless of the season.
  • Collector Appeal: Equipped with a factory service manual and original sales brochures, this Chrysler TC has substantial historical value for enthusiasts. It’s the kind of car that draws curious glances and sparks conversations—its rarity and story are part of its charm. Despite its quirks, it represents a era when car companies dared to experiment, making it a quirky yet beloved member of the automotive world.
