Description

Selling my 1999 Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution. 125,000mi and fully serviced. The pain in the a$$ major brake service completed 2 months ago. Box flare rubbers changed. The driver’s seat has a wear hole and both window track seals squeal and stick. These are the only faults. Vehicle currently has an ARC intake, rare aftermarket Lodiodrive 3pc 16” off road wheels. Everything works. I have 2, and it’s the reason for selling. Thank you for your interest! Dm me here, or faster response @jdms...

Our Take:
  • The 1999 Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution was a beast made for the Paris-Dakar Rally, boasting a robust V6 engine under the hood. Mitsubishi didn't just throw any SUV into the race; this one had more aggressive suspension tuning and a wider track, making it a true off-road warrior. It's not every day you see one of these—the production numbers were quite limited, especially compared to other Pajero models.
  • With its box flare rubbers and distinctive styling, the Pajero Evolution stands out from its more pedestrian siblings. Those flared wheel arches aren't just for show; they're a nod to the vehicle's rally roots, allowing room for serious off-road tires. It's the kind of vehicle you'd imagine tearing up desert sands rather than idling in a grocery store parking lot.
  • The listed modifications, like the ARC intake and rare Lodiodrive 3pc 16” off-road wheels, add a unique flavor to this already special vehicle. Aftermarket parts like these often appeal to enthusiasts who appreciate both performance and rarity. Lodiodrive wheels, in particular, are a bit of a unicorn themselves in the off-road community.
  • Despite its sophisticated engineering, the Pajero Evolution isn't immune to the wear and tear of time—just like an old pair of racing boots that still have a few races left in them. The mention of a wear hole in the driver's seat and squeaky window seals is almost nostalgic, reminiscent of a car that's been used for its intended purpose. It's like meeting a retired athlete who bears the scars of their victories and struggles.
