(VIN:1GDCT18Z1P0810546) The last (3) numerals (546) in the VIN designates her assembly build out of 2,200 total vehicles produced in 1993 making this TYPHOON a highly collectible, desirable, and rare vehicle. I can say with total confidence that if you have been actively searching for either a 1992 and/or 1993 GMC TYPHOON that has not been highly modified and/or raced, this is probably one of the finest examples that you will come across. When I acquired her over 16 years ago, she had 44,662 miles on the odometer. She now has 47,694 miles on the odometer meaning that I drove her just over 3,000 miles during that period of time. Of course, the mileage will change somewhat as I continue to drive her. This 1993 GMC TYPHOON has been properly covered and garage protected when not in use, and has always had a battery tender connected so there were never any surprises when I tried to start her. The exterior paint is in really excellent condition, and the body exhibits no visible rust. The o.e.m. stock wheels are in very nice condition with a few minor scratches on the clear coat finish, but really nothing of major concern. The black leather interior is immaculate with no rips and/or tears in it. This 1993 GMC TYPHOON is not being advertised as being in concours condition, but rather in really excellent condition for its (31) year old age. Included is a rare o.e.m. cargo net which is not often seen on similar TYPHOON vehicles being offered for sale. This vehicle also has the unique roof rack delete option, which clearly adds to its appearance. In addition, this TYPHOON has artist initialed tastefully done hand-painted pin striping which was there from day one when I acquired her. This vehicle comes complete with the Owner's Manual, (2) original GM key & fob sets, (1) "extra" set of uncut GM keys, as well as the "original" window sticker. Very cool!!! This TYPHOON is currently serviced by a certified GM mechanic at BUICK/GMC of Mahwah, NJ who is very familiar with these vehicles. The transmission was professionally rebuilt in 2014 by LEVEL 10 PERFORMANCE of Hamburg, NJ using a combination of their specifically made components, as well as original GM o.e.m. parts. The result is what they call a "Bullet-Proof" transmission. So far, it has proven extremely reliable. The A/C( air conditioning) was converted and upgraded in 2022 to current standards by BUICK/GMC of Mahwah.and it now blows nice cold air. Back in 2008 I had the stock DELCO radio with C/D professionally serviced by M&R ELECTRONICS of Saginaw, MI so it now functions properly. To be totally transparent. the only "issue" that this 1993 GMC TYPHOON has concerns a CARFAX Vehicle History Report dated 05/10/2000 (24) years ago) when the vehicle showed 12,800 miles on the odometer where a N.A.M. (not actual mileage) title was issued by the NYMVD, Tuxedo Park, NY to OWNER #1. As OWNER #3, I can tell you that I have had exactly "zero" problems with the odometer, and it is working flawlessly. Many that I have spoken to about this "issue" seem to feel that a clerical error occurred at the NYMVD rather than there being an actual problem with the odometer. This is not an uncommon occurrence from what I have been told. Serious GMC SYCLONE/TYPHOON enthusiasts will no doubt appreciate this fine S.U.V., and will absolutely not be disappointed. I have taken very good care of it, and it shows!!! She drives as nice as she looks!!! ***No "joyrides" and/or test drives will be allowed on this TYPHOON. Due to its age, I will not take the risk in allowing this vehicle to get damaged by either a careless driver and/or careless driving. No exceptions!!!
